Seven, Snow And Felled Trees

A bent tree branch on the front yard covered in ice.

It snowed here last night. It blanketed the trees with heavy icicles that a lot of branches broke off and in some extreme cases, broke the tree in half! I’ve never seen this before in my four decades of existence. We woke up with no electricity so we drove by the downtown to get coffee. It became a sad scene. There were plenty of split trees; the younger ones were felled. Trees are always symbolic of people and the extreme temperature actually broke a whole bunch of trees.

Today marks the seventh day since my last post here. The Black & White site has been active daily and since the conservative purge is real, I took some time to migrate stuff before the main providers decide to scrub even the little people off any mainstream platform. They might just leave us alone, but you never know. If you have a conservative-leaning blog and you have years of content, now would be the time to back up stuff before they decide to take it down without notice. A CEO on one of the two major platforms stated that their cancel culture plan is much bigger than just one man.

It sure is pretty cold and the climate of Christian influence is reaching the freezing point, but know that the One in you is greater than the one who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

“Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us…”
