These seeds came from the sunflowers I planted a couple of years ago and some even dating back to 2018. The big fat seeds are from a yellow variety (2nd pic on this post). The coffee brown seeds came from a reddish orange variety which was the tallest and the small beige from a hybrid variety. I normally soak my seeds before planting. I started late just a few days ago. In the past, I used the papertowel method to germinate.
Funny that as I was just checking on the development of my seeds today, this thing decided to come by the neighborhood. I don’t know if this is the same bird that perched on the same tree less than a month ago below. It was doing the same thing too. Every time it crowed, an unseen bird perching elsewhere responded.
Birds do tend to revisit familiar places. When I decide to blog for the day, it’s usually spontaneous. Seeds and birds… I don’t believe in coincidences.
It seems that Bible gateway uses the same Verse of the Day every April 1st from Psalm 14:1,
“The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, their deeds are vile; there is no one who does good.”
I’m not moved to expound on this since I already did one pertaining to the same verse on a post entitled, “Thoughts on Fool’s Day” if you’re interested.
All I can do is sow the same seed that God Himself sowed into my life when I was a little girl,
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
Now is the time to become a Son follower.
Time is running out.
