Soar Through Storm Clouds

It rained over here this morning. I initially just wanted to take a picture of the clouds through the sliding glass door. Out of nowhere, a bird came soaring through the dark clouds. I have no idea what kind of bird that is. It could have been a hawk or an eagle. The raindrops on the glass door produced the pentagon bokeh.

A cropped zoomed closeup

 “Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, 21 and having a High Priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.

Hebrews 10:19-23

“What, then, shall we say in response to these things?
If God is for us, who can be against us?

Romans 8:31

Whatever comes our way, He is always with us.

  1. [Pictures] It looks like the darkness is trying to cover the light.

    With the bird flying, reminds me if Isaiah 40:30-31, NASB 2020

    30 “Though youths grow weary and tired,
    And vigorous young men stumble badly,
    31 Yet those who wait for the Lord
    Will gain new strength;
    They will mount up with wings like eagles,
    They will run and not get tired,
    They will walk and not become weary.”
