Waking Up To Injustice

We cannot feel for what we are oblivious to.

In a course of 4 months, today is the second time I woke up with indignation. I dreamt I was standing in line at a pharmacy. The one in front of me was being served and I was next in line. However, the clerk- who seemed to be of Indian (Hindu)/Middle Eastern descent (I remember she had an Olive skin tone), decided to purposely skip me and served the one who was behind me. I was irked at the sight that the clerk saw I was next, so I told her that she had skipped me to serve the one behind me who also happened to be an Olive-skinned customer. The one behind me had a prescription she flashed to the clerk ignoring to wait her turn. I only voiced out what the clerk had done and she became loud and wanted to make a scene making it look like I was making a big deal out of the whole thing. Frustrated, I just told her I wanted what I went there for and then I woke up.

Unbeknownst to most of us, Sharia is alive and well in the United States. I was watching this Jewish woman’s testimony from Minnesota after my husband went off to work (It is interesting I stumbled onto this video on Roku via youtube because I did not specifically look for it!) and was deeply moved by her frustration which then reminded me of the dream I woke up to this morning. She is warning her fellow Jewish friends and fellow Minnesotans to stop affiliating with the party that is filled with people who literally pray for the demise of her own people.

The crackdown on selective hate speech rapidly increasing over social media platforms show us that companies are being Sharia compliant. They selectively “deboost” conservative voices telling the truth about Islam, which can be tied to Sharia’s blasphemy laws. If you don’t like what you are seeing with just short of 3 months that Sharia compliant legislators have displayed, we can only watch what will transpire within the coming months.
