There’s a time to talk about things and a time to let it go.
Today’s that day.
Not all is lost.
There’s always hope.
What a sunny and beautiful day,
In a place that’s usually gray.
There’s clean-up to be done especially in the backyard.
Life goes on.
“But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize of God’s heavenly calling in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 3:13b-14
Amen!!!

Forgetting what is behind is in reference to our old self before Christ. Going or moving forward is living the new life in Christ. As Christians, there is nothing good behind us but there is everything to gain in front us (God’s will).

My old self creeps in and gets the best of me at times and this verse is a good reminder that even when we have the tendency to let something linger (especially a negative circumstance/scenario), moving forward is the only way to go – trying to live life in submission to the Holy Spirit.
