The Great Wave & The Rebellion

It is no coincidence that the face of Christianity has been replaced by pseudo Christianity. This has been the enemy’s end goal and since our salvation is nearer than when we first believed, our time is definitely running short. Christians have been facing waves of seductive philosophies furthered in works dubbed as fiction infused with theological poison intent to challenge God’s Word that has stood the test of time.

We must brace ourselves for the big tsunami that is currently sweeping Christianity as we speak. Could this wave be the hammer of the rebellion, the precursor to the great delusion mentioned in 2 Thessalonians 2:11 (NASB),

“For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false…”

“For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

Matthew 24:24

Dangerous doctrines (momentarily- I say this because the Holy Spirit gently nudges the believer back to the truth) deceive “even the elect” and sadly some are won over by the seducing “evidence” of emotional healing it appears to achieve. If people are easily won over in this way, how much more a deception on a supernatural level?

“Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction.”

2 Thessalonians 2:3

People will first need to be preconditioned for “the” great deception to occur and since there’s plenty of literature that attack Scripture and the doctrines contained in it eroding absolute truth within society, the  time is getting ripe for the man of lawlessness’ unveiling.

Think of being in a shack. What are your chances of surviving when a tsunami hits? We can only imagine instant destruction as the powerful force knocks the frail structure. Scary thought, isn’t it? Yet this is what’s happening to believers right now in the spiritual realm with an ongoing battle so fierce it is not meant for us to see otherwise most people who are not grounded in the truth of Jesus Christ will lose faith.

Therefore, since we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, something shaped by art and man’s devising. 30 Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent…”

Acts 17:29-30

Let us not go after any image of God concocted in the imaginations of men, but of what God Himself revealed to us in His holy Word for He desires that we worship Him in Spirit and in truth (John 4:24). God’s truth and promises is our anchor and to those who are standing up for the truth, let us unite because the big wave seeks for our destruction.

We are targeted to be its casualties. Will you be a casualty or a remnant? It is in your power to choose.

  1. I agree with your warning. I want to add, though, that bad theology is nothing new. The early Church battled heresies, by the sixteenth century the Church desperately needed reformation… it’s practically a timeless story. (Oh, yes, and the Israelites of the Old Testament were frequently drifting too.) J.

    1. Amen to that. But we are living in times unparalleled. We are literally seeing the fruition of biblical prophecy. People in previous centuries could only dream of what we are living in. We see the recurring rise of antisemitism, a hatred directed to God’s chosen people in an attempt to thwart the Second Coming, we see an increasing climate of utter disdain for the truth and so on. None of us are exempt from getting deluded and God calls each and every believer to stand up for truth especially now.

I truly appreciate your comment and letting me know that you agree. Thank You.

  2. Keep sounding the alarm, Caeli! A man can die at any moment and face the Lord, and the Lord’s return is near. Maranatha!

    1. I appreciate your encouraging words Maria. Thank You. And I am looking forward to the Lord’s return indeed, that glorious day where all evil and hatred will be done away with. May we all stay true to our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ.

  3. Amen keep preaching the truth. Now more than ever we can see great deception in the church and in the land. Everywhere we look today we see the word “fake or false” we need to stay in the word and only rely on it.
